We work in communities, schools and with young people to reconnect everyone with the food they eat, and to keep cooking skills alive. We campaign for better food and good education in schools, and a global understanding of food.

“If we can get gardens growing, food education in the classroom and better school dinners; if we can teach communities to cook and give young unemployed people the skills to succeed, we've got a really powerful, inspirational catalyst for change, both now and for generations to come. We all have the opportunity to come together and do something that really makes a difference.” Jamie Oliver

FIFTEEN APPRENTICE PROGRAMME

Established in 2002, the Fifteen Apprentice Programme has transformed hundreds of young people's lives. By using the magic of food to unlock their hidden talents, we train disengaged young people for a long-term career in the restaurant industry. For every £1 invested in the programme, £9.50 of social value is returned.

JAMIE'S WORK IN SCHOOLS

We work with primary and secondary schools across the UK to bring food to life, working to reconnect children with what food is, where it comes from and how it affects their bodies.

CAMPAIGNS

SCHOOL DINNERS CAMPAIGN:
Jamie has long said that children who are fed better, perform better. Research supports this and has proved that a hot, nutritious meal at lunchtime improves their behaviour and concentration in the classroom in the afternoon.

FOOD REVOLUTION DAY CAMPAIGN:
Food Revolution Day is a single day where we ask people around the world to share their own passion for food and the power of essential cooking skills to transform lives. It is just one of the things we are doing to help reduce the impact of diet-related disease. All of the foundation's programmes are designed to bring food skills to life. It is just one of the things we are doing to help reduce the impact of diet-related disease.
